Adobe abandoning mobile Flash Player... is it good news or bad news?

Tagged:

With many people being so happy and laucghing taht Adobe decided to abandon mobile web, I personally not so happy. HTML5 is good, but not great for many tasks. Also I get upset when people provide missleading reason why Flash Player is bad! Draining battery? - garbage - check Flash Player implementaion on Playbook, it is perfectly working! Use a lot of CPU - dont make me laughing!!! Any HTML5 app will use 5 times more CPU using complex animation and transitions!

Working on ActionScript API which works with Google Buzz and Google Social Graph.
I think this will be interesting API for those people who want closely integrate their Flash/AIR products with social networking.

Still lots of work to  do, but architecture already lied down and now I need just to implement remaining parts and test.

Tested PicasaFlexAPI on Playbook! It works perfectly.

Sucesfully ported SimplePicasagallery to Playbook, and it works like a charm :)

Including screenshot that will proof my words:

Sweet!
